Terms of Service

1. About these terms

Relay is a department-management platform for Roblox roleplay communities, operated by the Relay team. These terms cover the website, dashboard, Discord integration, and related support. Use Relay only if you can accept these terms and have permission to act for any server you manage. Read our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.

Relay is currently in beta. Features and availability may change. Online subscription checkout is not available yet; the website’s pricing section describes current availability. These terms do not represent that a paid subscription or checkout already exists.

2. Eligibility and server responsibility

You must meet Discord’s minimum age and any higher minimum age that applies where you live. If you cannot enter a binding agreement yourself, involve a parent or legal guardian before using or purchasing services. Relay is intended for roleplay department administration, not real-world employment, emergency response, or decisions requiring verified professional credentials.

Only connect and configure servers you are authorized to manage. Keep your Discord account secure, review staff access and bot permissions, and provide appropriate notice to members about records, logs, and ticket transcripts. You are responsible for the instructions, content, and personnel decisions your authorized staff submit. Relay automation can change roles or nicknames and publish messages; review settings before enabling it.

3. Access and subscriptions

Access depends on the features and access rights actually offered to you, the bot remaining installed, and the permissions needed to operate it. Do not bypass access controls, impersonate another account, or interfere with another server’s configuration. Ownership of Relay’s software and branding is not transferred by using it.

If paid subscriptions are introduced, their price, billing interval, renewal behavior, included server access, limits, and cancellation terms must be presented before you agree to pay. Purchasing will take place through the website and its identified payment provider. Support tickets are for assistance, not payment collection. Existing purchases retain the price and access period expressly agreed for those purchases; this page does not retroactively replace them.

4. Billing, cancellation, and refunds

No universal renewal, cancellation-timing, or refund schedule has been published for the planned subscription service. Those details will be disclosed before subscription checkout opens. For an existing purchase or billing question, contact the team through Relay Discord and choose Purchase / Billing Help from Information → Support. Do not send card numbers, passwords, or payment account credentials in tickets.

Removing the bot or leaving Discord should not be treated as confirmation that a separate billing agreement has been cancelled. Ask support to verify any existing arrangement. Refund requests for existing purchases are reviewed against the terms agreed for that purchase and applicable law. Nothing here removes mandatory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Relay for unlawful activity, harassment, discrimination, doxxing, malicious code, spam, fraud, or unauthorized surveillance. Do not attempt to access records you are not permitted to view, compromise the service, or evade Discord’s rules. Submit only information you have a legitimate reason and authority to process.

Do not submit account credentials, payment card details, government identity documents, or unnecessary medical or other highly sensitive information. Personnel notes and tickets may contain personal information; restrict their contents and access appropriately. You retain your rights in submitted content and permit Relay to process it as needed to provide the service.

6. Records and retention

Role changes, discipline expiry, voiding an action, closing a ticket, and removing the bot do not necessarily erase the associated history. Records and transcripts can remain in Relay’s storage and in Discord messages, forums, attachments, and recipient copies. See the Privacy Policy for current retention behavior and how to request deletion.

Keep your own copies of records you need. Relay is not a guaranteed backup or permanent archive. Attachment links can expire, messages can be deleted, and administrators can change Discord access.

7. Availability and third-party services

Relay depends on Discord, hosting and storage providers, and your server permissions. Outages, rate limits, maintenance, changes to third-party services, and permission changes can interrupt features. During beta, bot-dependent work also depends on the bot’s operating environment being online. No specific uptime or support response-time commitment is currently offered.

Discord and other third-party services have their own terms and policies. Relay is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord or Roblox. A future payment provider will be identified when checkout is introduced.

8. Suspension and ending access

Relay may restrict or suspend access when needed to address misuse, a security issue, loss of required permissions, or a legal obligation. Where practical, the team will explain the issue and how to resolve it. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

Ending access does not automatically delete records or cancel an independent billing arrangement. Existing payment rights and applicable legal obligations continue to apply. You can stop using Relay and ask support about disconnecting a server or handling its records.

9. Responsibility and legal rights

Relay cannot guarantee that every automated action or record will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. Administrators should review important decisions and promptly report errors. The service does not replace your own judgment or obligations toward members.

No fixed monetary liability cap is specified in these beta terms. Any restriction of responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law; nothing excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or select an exclusive court or governing jurisdiction. Mandatory laws and consumer protections continue to apply.

10. Changes and contact

The current version and update date are shown on this page. Material changes will be identified here and, where appropriate, announced through the Relay Discord. Changes to future paid offerings will be explained before purchase. For questions about these terms, contact Relay Discord through Information → Support.
